You may have noticed my absence in the blogging world for awhile now. My work schedule has pretty much taken over - but on top of that, Andres & I moved into a new apartment in Astoria! Since we're still a neighborhood away from home, we've been bringing things slowly though we do have all of our essentials. Even our cat, Cooper, finally adjusted. The first night we brought him, he would not stop meowing all night - has anyone else experienced moving with a cat? Thankfully, by the next night he calmed down and went back to acting normally.
We have also been enjoying our rooftop view while the weather is nice. We have a view of Roosevelt Island and midtown Manhattan, and it's just amazing - we can't get enough, and the view never gets old.
We can't wait to share that view with our friends (our families have already seen it a couple of times), so we're currently preparing for a little housewarming/get together with some of our friends this weekend!

Looks like a beautiful view! I don't own cats, but I know that dogs tend to walk around and sniff at everything when they first move to a new place until they get adjusted.
