Last week, I attended the
Magnifico Giornata event introducing their new sparkling wines infused essence collection, hosted by VH1's Carrrie Keagan - a partner in the brand. The essences in the sparkling wines included Ginger P
êche, Grapefruit Blanc, and Lavender Honey. Paired with each drink were small bites created specially to compliment each of the essences. My favorite was the Lavender Honey (surprisingly, since I'm not much of a fan of lavender.) The Lavender Honey was paired with an egg roll with a goat cheese sauce, the Ginger Pêche was paired with endive leaves, and the Grapefruit Blanc was paired with this yummy tuna tartar!
Later on, the burlesque troop of Nuit Blanche performed provocative dances with sparklers in hand. I heard it was a spectacular show, but unfortunately I had to leave before that. Special guests that were also present were stylist Philip Bloch, VH1's Janell Snowden, Z100 radio host Trey Morgan, actress Kristen Ruhlin, actress J. Smith Cameron, and fitness personality Cara Castronuova.
