Last night, I went to see Snow White by Company XIV on a whim, and I am still raving about it. It was based on the Brothers Grimm version of the tale, and we were treated with a little bit of everything. There was ballet, tango, opera, circus - all mixed with burlesque. I loved how they took today's music and incorporated it into the show. There was an instrumental/opera version of Tove Lo's "Talking Body", a version of Britney Spears' "Toxic", and my absolute favorite - Miguel's "Simple Things". And even so, somehow it all worked within the story and overall performance.

If you follow me on Snapchat (@audreyallure), my story could not even fully translate the incredible show. (I was also too wrapped up in the show to Snap!)
The show is running until March 12, so if you're in New York, I would highly recommend you go check it out!
