Chrome x NOA

Tuesday, June 24, 2014

Chrome Indsutries recently partnered with artist NOA for their latest addition to their Chromes Artist Series. NOA typically uses oil and acrylic paint on canvas or wood, and know for painting live with a style that emulates Japanese line-making. Each piece is influenced by the music he chooses to play as he paints, with most of his inspiration deeply rooted in hip-hop and graffiti.

This particular bag is based on a Japanese phrase, phonetically "Kuromo", which means "Black Fog", and is a limited edition bag. I took it out for a spin this past weekend, for picnicking at Astoria Park. It was a beautiful day, and it held our blanket, magazines, snacks, and food (not pictured). My favorite feature is the velcro roll up opening - it was easy to access and close. After years of strap purses and handbags, this back pack was definitely super comfortable. It'll definitely be my new go-to bag for weekend travel trips!

bag was gifted, but opinions are solely mine

The black and white graffiti-style pattern of the bag is really cool, dear Audrey...and so is that unique roll-top closure!!
