Thursday, July 04, 2013

Happy Independence Day! Hope you're all enjoying the warm weather, fireworks, barbeques, and the wonderful company of family & friends!

This week's recipe for frozen mint lemonades is from Food, and is the perfect refreshment for a summer day. It's so simple to make. The following recipe serves for 6.

Ingredients:
1/2 cup fresh lemon juice
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 cup fresh mint leaves
2 cups water
3 cups ice cubes

Directions:
Blend lemon, sugar and mint until leaves are finely chopped. Add water and ice to blender, blend until smooth. Serve immediately.
