Litographs

Monday, April 01, 2013

I've always loved books and reading since I was a kid. I still visit libraries and bookstores - nothing beats holding the actual book in your hands and flipping through the pages, which is why I love Litographs' concept. They offer prints that are created from the text of classic literature in the form of prints and t-shirts (for both men and women!). Litographs partners with the International Book Bank to send one new, high quality book to a community in need for every poster that they sell. Litographs is committed to promoting literacy, both at home and abroad.

The designs they offer are incredible and so fitting to the book themes they are currently selling. They have many classic titles such as The Great Gatsby, Alice in Wonderland, Moby Dick, and many more. I chose the Sherlock Holmes one, not only because I love a great mystery but I also loved the simple design of it. As for the poster, I chose Emma, also for the design and story. The print on the poster are smaller than on the t-shirt but it's still legible. These are definitely amazing pieces of art.

What's your favorite classic book?

Your litograph top looks amazing!!! I use to love reading novels and history books but not anymore, after suffering from eye problems and dizziness leading to unable to concentrate i was advice by my doctor to stop, i was working my brain too much. I still love to read but not as much as i use to do before.

What a cool concept. When I was a teenager I was slightly obsessed with Jane Austen--- probably a bit of a romantic! Now my taste is more varied, but like you, I love the classics!
