Neodandi F/W 2013

Sunday, February 17, 2013

The Neodandi show was quite an experience. Instead of a traditional runway show, designer Niilartey De Osu opted to incorporate dance into the mix. The show consisted of 35 women's looks and 7 men's looks and was split into 8 different collections. There were multicolored knit scarves, colored felt, uji & kyoto & jar skirts, wool, ink dresses, Yorimoto tops, fiberglass screening and palace skirts, and painted leather.

Throughout the show, there were dance performances and slowly the models joined in the dance, circling around the square runway.

Neodandi will have their first NYC boutique opening in late February and a permanent move of their Seattle atelier to NYC in late spring.
