The Accomplice: NY

Friday, October 19, 2012

For a friend's birthday, we thought there should be a change within the traditional fine-dining routine. Her boyfriend truly set us up on an adventure. As jaded New Yorkers, we explored the city like never before. We participated in Accomplice: The Show. I don't want to give too much away and spoil all the fun, but it definitely was an amazing experience -- they have two in different part of NY, one in London, and one in Hollywood.

Basically what it is, is a Broadway-like show, where you play a part in. The basic storyline sets us to be an accomplice (there are various story lines in each city) -- you have to help someone complete a mission. You gather clues, find places, get in contact with various characters, and engage in various activity. It's such a fun game/adventure and absolutely great with a group of friends.

The Huffington Post (among other great reviews), claimed, "Accomplice is a game you won’t want to end.
A vacation from reality and a chance to let your imagination run wild." -- which was definitely true. It was entertaining and it was like we were a part of a movie - just an incredible experience. I highly recommend doing it at least once! I'm planning on doing the other New York one in the future :)
