Tasty Thursdays: Orange Cream Smoothie

Thursday, March 31, 2011

So lately I've been loving the Orange Dream Machine from Jamba Juice (aside from my usual Peach Pleasure). This Orange Cream Smoothie recipe is from SparkRecipes, which is pretty easy to make at home. [This recipe serves one].

Ingredients:
6 oz orange juice
4 oz milk
I small banana, cut into chunks
Splash of vanilla
1/2 cup crushed ice

Directions:
In a blender: combine orange juice, milk, banana, vanilla and ice. Cover and blend until smooth.
Variations: Try apple, cranberry, grape or pineapple juice in place of the orange juice.

I'm definitely going to be trying this out myself sometime soon!
