Alexa Chung & her friend posed for me at the Rachel Antonoff presentation
*Warning: LONG & Picture Heavy!* But I set it so you can only see today's post so it doesn't take as long to load. See how much I adore you all? =D

On Friday, I went to see Perry Ellis. The collection reminded me a lot of Twinkle by Wenlan's collection last season - like a forest fairytale, except this for men. There were a lot of beiges, taupes, grays, and greens. Everything looked perfectly tailored and definitely wearable. Here are some of the looks:Next, I saw Buckler. They closed down a street in SoHo just for the show. It was cold, but luckily they also handed out heat pads for the hands to stay warm & toasty :) The show also started on time, which is pretty unusual during Fashion Week, haha. The collection consisted mostly black, white, taupes, and yellow. I obviously don't know much about men's clothing, but I did like how he brightened things up with the yellow. Here are some shots:Later on, I went to see the Althea Harper presentation. She was a finalist in Project Runway's 6th season. I loved the way she mixed leather & lace. It's interesting the way she cut the pieces into shapes. I especially liked this one skirt where it had different levels for its pockets.Last show of Friday night, I saw Venexiana. My camera died in the middle of the show, so I wasn't able to capture the two beautiful wedding gowns (especially the ivory silk organza high neck petal gown with Swarovski crystals) that everyone crazed over once it went down the runway. Katie Stern definitely used more colors - there were a lot of jeweled tones and metallics, and some fur. The collection had a bit of a 40s feel to it.Whew! Halfway done with this post! On Saturday, I attended General Idea. It was a small show, and I honestly don't know much about the company. Students & staff from my college were invited to this one. According to its tip sheet, the letter "M" was the collection's inspiration. A lot of coats & outerwear went down the runway & definitely had the concepts of military fused with the mountains. After, I headed off to the Rachel Antonoff presentation. I LOVED it! Instead of the usual presentation where models just stand around, she set it up like a high school dance & some of the models were on the dance floor. She had looks for different "stereotypes" like the mean girls, punch spikers, wall flowers, etc. The Like performed as the "band" while wearing Rachel Antonoff pieces. Alexa Chung was also present (not modeling though), and she's in the first photo of this post. Some other pictures:Below is Rachel Antonoff herself with 2 models.Lastly, went to see Vivienne Tam! A lot of black, cremes, and grays. There were a couple of reds. It was a huge show, and the room was packed! The collection was beautiful, very feminine & tailored. Here are some pictures:More show updates to come this week!

Again, I posted many more photos on my personal Facebook account so if you'd like you can add me as a friend to view them (just check out my contact page). I also posted videos of the finale walks there too!
