Sunday Flowers: Peach Gerberas

Sunday, January 16, 2011

The beautiful peach gerbera is a genus of the family of sunflowers, daisies, and asters. It comes in many colors besides peach like dark yellow, orange, red, pink, and many more. They have a long vase life (super good thing for someone like me who does not have a green thumb lol).
These flowers are mostly used for weddings, gifts, and decorations. They're native to South Africa although they may be found in parts of Asia and South America as well.
