Sending Jodi to India

Thursday, July 08, 2010

Some of you might know Jodi from "If You Never Did, You Should." Her latest project is trying to get a trip to India. She will try to help eliminate poverty by implementing micro-finance institutions, education programs, and health care. She will be there for 4-6 months living with a host family while trying to make a difference at the same time.
According to her description of the project, "I will be traveling on a very tight budget to make this trip a reality. I am staying with a host family, eating basic food, and really only spending money on the bare necessities. Any money over and above what is needed will be donated to the people of Uttar Pradesh. [...] **All donations over and above the goal will be donated to improve the programs I will be working with** "

I'll have to take a look. I've been to India 15 times and absolutely adore it, the people, the culture and the sights, just the most fabulous place on earth.
