Tasty Thursdays: Melon Ices

Thursday, June 10, 2010

This is probably one of my favorites as well. For the melon ice, just take any melon of your choice (whether it be watermelon, honeydew, or cantaloupe) and blend it with honey or maple syrup. You may choose to put as much honey or maple syrup as you please. Add some ice & blend it all together.

For mine, I chose watermelon - about 3/4 of a half (chopped up). Dribbled in some maple syrup by eye, and it tasted great! Definitely refreshing!

I hate watermelons with a passion but I love watermelon juice. Maybe I'll like this? The maple syrup sounds really good.

I would have wanted to meet up with you! The things was that since I traveled with the dear hubby, and already had some appointments, I couldn't ask my sweetie to be alone too much. But I hope to be back in the City soon... and meeting up with you will be my priority! Or what about you visiting Paris? I have a very comfy sofa bed;)
