Cafetasia

Saturday, June 12, 2010

Last night, went out for dinner with my friend & fellow blogger, Angelica. She introduced me to this restaurant called Cafetasia (not to be confused with Cafeteria, one of my other favorite places to eat). Loved the candles everywhere, surprised that most of them were real open flames, since usually I see imitation ones.

Menu was definitely affordable - you could get 3 small dishes for just $11! The thai food all seemed tasty, but I tried the Grilled Calamari with a side of brown rice. It wasn't what I expected, but it wasn't too bad either. They have two locations, one in the greenwich village (which we went to) and another in east village.

You can also check out Angelica's blog here. She just started to blog again, so show her some love!

How fun! Beautiful photos and that food sounds so good- although the calamari certainly sounds like nothing that I would expect.
