$9.99 (Movie)

I don't usually watch animation films, but hearing the positive feedback of this 2 time award-winning movie & 3 nominations, I wanted to check it out. Released in 2008, this stop animation was made based on the short stories of Etgar Keret. It is "a stop-motion animated story about people living in a Syndey apartment complex looking for meaning in their lives".

The images and editing were amazing in this film - everything seemed so lifelike, and the graphics were well done. Overall, it can seem strange but this movie did require you to think about it through the characters & intertwining story plot. It's not one of those movies where you get it right away, and it's a fantastic film once it sinks in.

I've added the movie trailer below, so you can get more of an insight.

Here is the trailer of the movie:

That looks super fascinating, I must admit the only stop motion I've seen is Wallace and Gromit!

Hi darling, luv the new blog layout, very pretty!

I have not even heard of this movie, lol. One of the best animated movies that I have seen recently is 'How To Train Your Dragon'. I thought it was a kids movie and was pleasantly surprised. The graphics are fantastic!!

Have a lovely day :)

This looks interesting -- the fact that Geoffrey Rush had anything to do with it certainly intrigues me!

Looks really good, I always loved claymation cartoons and cartoons coming up. Wallace and Grommet was the best!

This sounds pretty interesting, but I just can't stand animated films unless they are Disney.

I'm intrigued! Stop animation is such a talent, yet it sort of freaks me out too...but I think the plot sounds great!
